                      SIGNATURE PIECES

The pieces pictured here best reflect my personal design aesthetic.  Many of them I painted for myself or as custom pieces, but others are offered for sale at Once More Decor.  I have specified where that is the case.

This is the top of a hall tree commissioned as a gift.  I used Annie Sloan's Coco and Old Ochre to bring out the details in the carving.  To see the entire piece, view the Custom Pieces page.

I wanted this carved mantel to resemble classic Wedgwood pottery.  It took a while, but I finally got the look I was trying for.  It is offered for sale at OMD.

This cute little chest was in a sorry state when I acquired it.  After a bit of TLC and some chalk paint (see below) it brightened right up and SOLD!

This is a detail of the top of a French mirror I sold at OMD.  I had painted it a variety of pastel colors to bring out the carving.

A beautiful antique coffee table I painted French grey, this piece lives in my bedroom.

I didn't like the color of this new wooden bench, so I painted it butter cream yellow with green accents to complement the decor of our guest bedroom.

This is a close-up of a custom dresser I did.  The entire dresser is pictured on the Custom Pieces page.

I had fun painting this demi-lune table, my first attempt at a tole design, now SOLD.  On this piece I used Annie Sloan's chalk paint.  For more about this fantastic paint, click on the link on the About OMD page.

For sale at Heirlooms, this double bed is painted with Louis blue chalk paint, accented with cafe au lait and cream details.

This is the sign at OMD in Sweeten Creek Antiques.  I designed it to complement the room as a whole and made it from a discarded cabinet door, using stencils I cut myself.  As you can see, it incorporates the heavy distressing I so often employ.
